Dad

My dad, 
   sometimes he gets mad
But he's also nice
   he can get rid of mice
My dad, 
   sometimes makes me sad and also glad
My dad is funny,
    and he likes money
My dad is a good cook and baker,
    I'm not sure if he is a good raker

Candy

I like candy
   you do too
But too much candy
   isn't good for you
Candy is delicious
   but not always nutritious

Being Neat

Keep the house tidy and neat
   and please don't stomp with boots on your feet

Keep your room very clean
   you have to do it even when you are a teen

If you don't do it, you'll end up
   spilling water out of your cup

If you put your toys away
   you'll have a clean rest of the day

Moral: If you keep the house neat,
    you might just get a treat

Dreaming

What is a dream?
    Its your thoughts in a team
They march in your head
    and make you toss and turn in bed
Scary, sad, happy and mad
     Dreams are something I always had

    "Is a pebble light?", "I don't know"
"Are my slippers fuzzy?", "Yes they are"
     "Is the sun bright?", "Brighter than a star!"

"Do I like animals?", "Yes you do"
    "What's white and sticky?", "Liquid glue"
"How will I eat?", "You will chew"
    "Who am I?", "You are you"

"How tall am I?", "You are medium tall"
    "What's one of my favorite sports?", "Kickball"
"What color is my hair?", "Yellow and brown"
    "Where am I going?", "Out of town"

My Brother

My brother begs my mother, to play on the ipad
   but we tell him its for Dad,  so he gets mad

Diego is his favorite show,
    he watches it even if he's seen the show

He always wants to wear jeans,
    he sometimes leans to eat beans

He ruins his shirt
    when he plays in dirt

He is cute,
    when he makes a toot

He's a pest,
    but still the best

I love my brother,
    even when he is a bother!!!

I am the Moon

The man in the moon, looked down too soon 
            and this is what he said

"The sun's job is done,
      and so is his fun.
 I shine my white light
      in the night.
 On your floors,
      across the doors 
              and on the shores
 My light is so bright,
      that I can guide you thru the night
          so I shine with all my might"

Families

Families are wonderful,
      families are great
Families are better than
     a piece of chocolate cake.
This is what I think,
     and this is what I say,
"I love my family
     in almost every way"

Mice

Mrs Mouse lives in a house and wears a blouse
     Mr Mouse lives with Mrs Mouse but doesn't wear a blouse
Lily Mouse lives with Mr and Mrs Mouse and wears a blouse
     Little Mouse lives with Lily, Mr and Mrs Mouse but doesn't wear a blouse
All four mice love to eat rice and play dice!
